Andrew Lopianowski is the Managing Director of Onyx Consulting, a unique and innovative consultancy that focusses on working with high-growth businesses and investors to co-create rapid growth. He helps organisations to define their strategy, translate this into a clear operating model and execute it through a carefully managed change initiative. He also has extensive experience in organisational design, change management, culture re-definition, leadership development and talent management, which offers him a unique perspective on how organisations can translate their business objectives into operational reality.


With over 10 years’ experience of consulting to a range of small to large organisations across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, Andrew has extensive experience in how organisations, regardless of sector or industry, can be designed and enabled to effectively transform their performance and grow successfully.  A few recent examples include:

  • Oversaw the design and global rollout of a comprehensive leadership development programme for a leading retail bank. Post-programme analysis confirmed a 7x ROI.
  • Helped define and guide a public sector organisation through the transition of privatisation, defining new operating models, roles and responsibilities, and transforming the culture.
  • Supported an African NGO in defining a new operating model for the organisation, creating a new organisational structure and facilitating the transition to the new way of working.
  • Led the centralisation of talent management activities across a leading global bank, mapping out a 7 year attraction, selection and development plan for all junior and mid-level staff.
